Renowned American rapper Meek Mill, born Robert Rihmeek Williams, has expressed his desire to obtain Ghanaian citizenship.
He believes that America systematically oppresses black people who do not conform to societal expectations.
The rapper shared his thoughts on this matter through a post on the social media platform X.
He said, “I wanna get citizenship in Ghana!!!! America made to tear black men down if you don’t follow orders!”.

Meek Mill was in Ghana in 2022 for Christmas. The rapper made headlines when he shot a music video at Ghana’s Jubilee House.
He was forced to pull down his video from social media and apologize to the people of Ghana.
