“Marriage is not on my priority list now” – D-Cryme
Ghanaian rapper Darlington Kwasi Agyekum, popularly known as D-Cryme, has disclosed that he is in no hurry to walk down the aisle, saying marriage does not currently feature among his major priorities.
The “Kill Me Shy” hitmaker said he has never attached a particular age or deadline to marriage, explaining that life does not always follow a predetermined sequence.
According to D-Cryme, although he remains open to the possibility of marriage, his attention is presently directed towards other aspects of his life. He noted that his priorities could change with time, and he would settle down when the moment feels right.
“As long as we have life, a lot of things can happen along the way, and some things may happen before others. In terms of my priorities right now, marriage is not at the top of the list. However, as humans, anything is possible, so it is possible that I could get married,” he said.
D-Cryme, who emerged prominently through Adom FM’s Kasahare Level rap competition, has remained an influential name in Ghana’s hiplife and hip-hop space and is associated with the development of the Twipop sound.
For now, the rapper appears comfortable allowing life to take its course rather than putting pressure on himself to meet society’s expectations about marriage.
