The Ghana Police Service has arrested a man identified as Osei Kwame, popularly known as “Nsafufoo,” for unlawfully wearing a police uniform in a viral video that caused public alarm.
The arrest took place at Antoakrom in the Manso Nkwanta District of the Ashanti Region, following swift action by law enforcement officials.
In the video, Osei Kwame appeared visibly intoxicated while dressed in full police attire, a move that drew widespread condemnation from the public and raised concerns about impersonation and security breaches.
He is currently in police custody and assisting with ongoing investigations, particularly regarding how he came into possession of the uniform.
The police have assured the public that the matter is being treated seriously, and further updates will be provided as investigations continue.
