Deputy National Youth Authority and parliamentary aspirant for Oforikrom constituency, Nelson Owusu Ansah has made a passionate appeal to delegates of Oforikrom constituency in the Ashanti Region to give him the opportunity to represent them in parliament in 2024.
The New Patriotic Party(NPP) is yet to have its parliamentary primaries on the 27TH January ahead of the general elections in 2024.
Mr Owusu Ansah stands against 4 other candidates constesting for Oforikrom constituency seat.
Speaking on Oyerepa Breakfast Show with Nana Yaw Mensah Joel on Monday, the parliamentary aspirant made a passionate appeal to his constituents to make him their parliamentarian and they would not regret giving him the mandate .
He explained that he had dreamt of having the opportunity to serve his people because he believes he will only bring the best to Oforikrom constituency.
“I have always dreamt of opportunity to serve my people with the aim of bringing development to the constituency,“ he said.
He further stated that there is a new development approach he is bringing on board for the betterment of the constituency particularly with youth which would provide them with opportunities and more.
“Look, we may not be able to help everyone in the constituency but the little we can we will do our very best to support particularly the youth,” he noted.
“I can promise you that we will do everything possible to ensure that our youth also get the needed support they deserve to also progress in life” he added.
“I’ve this new agenda for my people and that is what I am bringing on board which I call it Oforikrom Development Union but will operate as an independent union under the member of parliament just to serve a source of development to the people of constituency” he added.
“This is a sustainable development approach which will go a long way to help bring support and development to the constituency “ he said.
Notwithstanding he pointed out that if his people do him the honour and give him the opportunity to become their leader he has a lot to give them .
He ended by stating that he is optimistic that this is a sustainable approach and strategy for development.
