The Youth Chaplain of Christian Mothers Association in the Catholic Archdiocese of Kumasi, Rev. Fr. Dennis Yaw Barima has called on Ghanaians to make maintenance of culture individual responsibility for the growth of the nation.
He made the call at the inauguration ceremony of rehabilitation office for Christian Mothers Association in the Catholic Archdiocese of Kumasi at St. Peters Cathedral Basilica.
Rev. Fr. Dennis Yaw Barima who was the representative of the Catholic Archbishop of Kumasi, Most Reverend Gabriel Justice Anokye said lack of maintenance destroying a lot of government and private facility in Ghana.
“Let us bright wherever we find ourselves irrespective of who it belongs to. If we cannot take care of places we live and other procession it becomes disgrace to our personalities”
“This inauguration of Christian Mothers Association’s rehabilitation office is a call up for everyone in the country to work on our errors that has made us old in the presence of our creator. We all need to run from our sins that have made us old to the kingdom of God.”
According to him, Ghanaians need to rekindle their love, attitudes and actions in maintenance culture for others to imitate them to serve God.
“The aim of Christian Mothers Association is to train their companions, children and family in Christ for other neighbors to learn and to do the same”, Mrs. Hannah Essuman, president of Christian Mothers Association – Catholic Archdiocese of Kumasi revealed.
Mrs. Essuman noted that, the Association mission is to help others live without burdens hence their vocational school for street children on going at Akropong.
“I will appeal to individuals and companies to come in to our aid to support our ongoing project through cash, building materials and kind to sustain street children at Akropong in the Ashanti region” she appealed for project support.
Mrs. Essuman called on all members of the Association to come to their new office for all their materials at affordable price.
Leadership of Christian Mothers Association from parishes in the Kumasi Catholic Archdiocese graced the inauguration including Rev. Fr. Michael Owusu Kwarteng, a representative of St. Peters Cathedral Basilica Administrator, Monsignor Gabriel Acheampong.
