The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Atwima Kwanwoma, Prince Karikari, has downplayed the flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Mahama’s capability to prosecute NPP government officials.
Former President Mahama has declared his intention to hold corrupt officials in the Akufo-Addo and Bawumia-led administration accountable if he is re-elected.
In reaction to the former president’s remarks on the Oyerepa Breakfast Show, Mr. Karikari confidently stated that even if John Mahama wins the election, he can’t prosecute anyone.
“John Mahama cannot prosecute anyone even if he wins the 2024 elections. They said similar things in 2008 but they couldn’t arrest a single person,” the Atwima Kwanwoma DCE emphasized on Oyerepa FM.
