Ghanaian actor and producer Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as LilWin, has made a significant impact with his latest film, ‘A Country Called Ghana.’
Directed by Frank Fiifi Gharbin and released in May 2024, the movie boasts a talented multinational cast, including Ramsey Nouah, Charles Awurum, and Victor Osuagwu.
The film has garnered an impressive 10 nominations at the 2024 Imo International Film Festival, including Best Screenplay, Best Actor (Male) for Ramsey Nouah, and Best Supporting Actor (Male) for LilWin himself.
He will compete against Nigerian actor Kanayo O. Kanayo in the latter category.
‘A Country Called Ghana’ has also been recognized as a contender for ‘Black Star Movie of the Year’ at the 2024 Black Star International Film Festival.
Following its release, the movie secured a cinema distribution deal and earned multiple nominations at film festivals in Germany and New Zealand. Additionally, it is set to be featured at the prestigious Nollywood Film Festival.
