The former Greater Accra Regional Youth Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and founder of Blue Army Movement (BAM), Moses Abor has called on all NPP members to unite and come together to take power from the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2028 elections.
Abor made this statement during an _Iftar_ get-together party organized for Muslim supporters to break their Ramadan fast at the NPP Headquarters in Accra. An annual program, bringing together Muslim supporters from the party to celebrate the breaking of Ramadan fasting.
The former Assemblyman for Kokomlemle East emphasized that despite the party’s loss in the 2024 elections, all hope is not lost, and the NPP remains the only hope for the country.
He acknowledged that the party’s failure to vote in the last election was a mistake, but expressed optimism that the youth who stayed away have now regretted their decision. He also alleged that the NDC’s intimidation of some NPP leaders is a strategic game, but urged party members not to be swayed.
“Many youth who didn’t vote in the last election now regret their decision. Whenever I’m driving and give people a lift, they complain about how tough things are and express regret over voting for the NDC,” he said.
To achieve victory in 2028, Abor appealed to NPP grassroots members to unite, emphasizing that the party is the only one that can save Ghana. He also cautioned party faithful to avoid politics of insult and attack, especially during the primaries and election.
Moses Abor cautions NPP members against destructive politics, emphasizing that attacking fellow party members can ultimately harm the party’s chances.
He stresses that if a candidate is attacked during the primaries and still wins, it will be challenging to campaign for them and persuade Ghanaians to vote for them.
