As Ghana prepares for its General elections in December, celebrated gospel musician Esther Smith has added her voice to the growing calls for a peaceful and serene electoral process.
In a recent interview on Oyerepa Entertainment Review, hosted by MFK, the Multi-Award-Winning Gospel Artist emphasized the need for Ghanaians to come together and ensure that the elections are conducted in a peaceful and respectful manner.
“Let’s exercise our right to vote peacefully in the upcoming elections. Remember, our political differences don’t make us enemies. Whether you’re in party A or party B, we’re all united in our pursuit of good leadership. Let’s cast our ballots in peace and continue to serve our God.” the “Ma Ensi Me Yie”, crooner stated.
Her message comes at a time when tensions are running high, and concerns about potential violence and unrest are growing.
Smith, known for her soulful voice and inspiring lyrics, has therefore used her platform to promote unity and harmony among Ghanaians.
