Award-winning gospel singer Joyce Blessing has revealed that her past experiences have not soured her on love and marriage.
In a recent interview on 3FM on September 3, 2024, Joyce expressed her continued belief in the beauty of marriage, despite having faced challenging times.
She shared her optimism about potentially remarrying, emphasizing the importance of prioritizing one’s own peace of mind in relationships.
Joyce advised against sacrificing one’s own happiness to appease others, instead encouraging individuals to seek partnerships that nurture their emotional well-being.
“What I have been through and my past experience, I will use it to protect the new one that I’m going to enter. I think marriage is a beautiful thing, love is a beautiful thing.
“When you meet someone who understands you and loves you just as you are, you can be yourself every time, it’s very important,” she told Giovani Caleb.
Joyce Blessing and her ex-husband, Dave Joy who was also her former manager, ended their nearly decade-long marriage allegedly due to both parties engaging in extra-marital affairs.
The couple has three children together.
