Ghanaian hip-hop musician, Cweku Ryan Korsah known in showbiz as Cweku Ryan has entreated his fellow musicians to learn and have patience since it is the only path that can make them successful in their music journey.
A lot of people invariably argue that music artists are arrogant and do things they desire without thinking about societal norms. To some extent, it is true since a lot of talented musicians who via fame disrespected humanity have faded out.
As a result, the 2013 Vodafone icon believes that young artists can only achieve success in their music career if they do away with arrogance and begin to learn as well as exercise patience.
Citing an example with a successful Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale, he said, the SM boss went into hibernation after releasing his first track. Shatta Wale went off the music scene and studied the terrain well and later on came out with songs that, exploded and now he’s among the most valued musicians in Africa.
Cweku Ryan believes that learning, exercising patience and being humble are key to every musician’s success.
“Music is all about learning, exercising patience and being humble,” he told MKF on Oyerepa Breakfast Entertainment Review, Friday.
The hip-hop musician will release his Extended Play (EP) on 25th February this year.
The EP, titled; ‘It isn’t dead’ has 6 powerful tracks. The songs talk mainly about the ups and downs of life.
