The former member of parliament for Kumbunugu, Ras Mubarak, has said that the low attendance at the demonstration grounds is an indication that Ghanaians are suffering; he debunked claims that those who showed up were members of the NDC.
Speaking with Kwesi Wilson Parker on Oyerepa Breakfast Time, Ras Mubarak stated that Ghanaians who absented themselves from the demonstration did so as a result of not being able to cater for their transportation and not because they did not support the agenda for the demonstration.
“People who live in the periphery and those who could afford to come for the demonstration came.” The NPP is justifying the propaganda spread that all who showed up at the demonstration were members of the NDC, given the low attendance. He said.
According to the former MP, it is time for the Akufo-Addo-led government to render an apology to Ghanaian citizens over failed promises and stop spreading propaganda.
