Popular Kumawood Actor and Musician Frank Naro has recounted how armed military men assaulted him and his colleague Kwaku Manu in Kumasi.
“The military men slapped me twice and Kwaku Manu also received his share of the dirty slaps”, he revealed
Narrating how it all happened on Angel Drive, Frank Naro explained “I was in the car with Kwaku Manu in traffic so those selling near the Amakom to Asafo traffic saw and they all came to us including some drivers and the people around”
“Because of the crowd, there was a traffic jam not knowing some military men were in the traffic so they came to direct the traffic and realized we were the cause.”
He added “They asked Kwaku Manu why he was causing unnecessary traffic and before he could speak, one military landed a heavy slap on his face.”
“I tried to explain the issue and I also took my share of the slap which affected my eyes and gave me some head problems for some months.”
“I don’t think I will forget that slap in my life and since then I always remember the pains I went through when I see a military man.” He explained.
“We followed up military barracks to find out why they attacked us without any reason and even there we didn’t take it easy.” He recounted.
