It has emerged that the man who allegedly shot and killed 26-year-old Victoria Dapaa, also known as Maadwoa at Adum in Kumasi is a married police inspector with children.
Maadwoa was shot dead on Thurday’s night at Adum Aseda House in Kumasi by her jealous boyfriend who is now believed to be police officer, Mr Darko.
The eyewitness who saw a heated argument between the duo moments before her death said, her killer –the police officer and alleged boyfriend of the deceased –had accused her of cheating.
The suspect upon ensuring the death of his victim then bolted away.
In latest development, a video currently going viral on social media has the alleged police officer calling a trusted relative of his and informing her of the crime he committed and the possible action he is going to take.
Per the voice heard in the video alleged to be that of the police officer, he said he has been caring for the deceased well as a boyfriend but all Maadwoa could offer in return was to maltreat him.
He added he will take his life to put an end to all the brouhaha.
Police are still on a manhunt for the culprit for investigation and prosecution..
