Ghanaian musician from Takoradi, Lasmid Owusu Nathaniel has shared that his admiration for Kofi Kinaata’s craft motivated him to do music.
During a recent interview on #AdwumaAdwuma with Osei Felicia on Onua FM, Lasmid revealed that in addition to Kintaaa, he was also a fan of Stonebwoy.
He further revealed that the “Behind the Scenes” singer has left an indelible mark on him and other music enthusiasts.
“I really like Kofi Kinaata and I like Stonebwoy too. They all have different vibes and I feel all of them,” he declared.
Revealing how he got into the industry, the ‘Friday Night’ hitmaker revealed that Kofi Kinaata’s artistry became a guiding light that emboldened him to chase his musical dreams.

“Before I came into the music industry, I looked up to Kofi Kinaata. He motivated me to do music,” he disclosed.
The connection between Lasmid and Kofi Kinaata, however, extends beyond mere admiration as the two artistes from Sekondi Takoradi have joined forces in the past on a harmonious collaboration that resonated with audiences.
“I even have a song with him. I did my first song with him, ‘OdO Brass Band.’ It’s from 2019,” Lasmid revealed with a sense of pride before singing the chorus to the hearing listeners.
