The Kasoa Ofaakor Circuit Court has remanded Senior Prophet Samson Seidu, Founder and Leader of Angelic Grace Palace, into police custody for two weeks over an alleged fraud case involving a widow.

Senior Prophet Samson Seidu is accused of taking custody of the woman’s property documents and allegedly selling some of the properties without her consent.

He appeared before the court and denied the allegations, pleading not guilty to the charges.

The case has attracted attention following earlier reports involving allegations against a pastor at Gomoa Nyanyano, who was accused of defrauding a single mother.

Speaking to the media after Wednesday’s court proceedings, Richard Toffour, a former administrator of the pastor’s church, said the woman personally handed the property documents to Senior Prophet Samson Seidu.

He maintained that the documents were voluntarily brought to the pastor, although details surrounding what subsequently happened to the properties remain the subject of the ongoing case.

The alleged victim, Madam Gifty Moses, has, however, rejected the claims made by the pastor and insisted that his account of events is false.

The court’s decision to remand the pastor for two weeks means he will remain in police custody as investigations continue.

The matter is expected to return to court after the remand period, with both sides expected to present their respective positions as the case progresses.
