A carpenter and security man working at an ongoing market shops project at the Kasoa Central Business District in the Awutu Senya East Municipality has reportedly been killed by suspected “wee boys.”

According to reports, the tragic incident occurred around midnight on Tuesday when the deceased allegedly confronted a group of suspected marijuana smokers who had entered the project site to relieve themselves.

Residents say some individuals have turned parts of the area into a public toilet, creating serious sanitation and security concerns within the vicinity.

Sources suspect the deceased may have been attacked and killed by the same group he confronted during the incident.

The body has since been deposited at the morgue, while police have commenced investigations into the matter.
