Kasoa Ofaakor Circuit Court presided over by her ladyship Nana Asantewa Attakorah has sentenced a 25 year-old old, Stephen Kweku Darko to 10 years  imprisonment for defiling four year-old girl at Awutu Adawukwa in the Awutu Senya District of the Central region.

The suspect was arrested by the Awutu Bawjiase district police command led  by ASP Godwin Nornoo after parents lodge a complaint.

According to Prosecutor,  the suspect leave with the victim in the same vicinity at Awutu Adawukwa.

Police said that on May 9, 2025, the suspect called the girl to come and take a toffee. After she entered his room, he allegedly grabbed and defiled her. The girl later informed her parents, which led to his arrest.

During the proceedings, the suspect pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
