“Kantanka’s son may commit suicide” – Ajagurajah warns police to watch him closely
Leader of the Universal Spiritual Outreach, Bishop Kwabena Asiamah, popularly known as Ajagurajah, has stirred massive reactions online after making alarming comments about the ongoing controversies surrounding the Kantanka family.
Speaking in a video on the recent developments involving the family of Apostle Dr. Kwadwo Safo Kantanka, Ajagurajah claimed that the situation could take a dangerous turn if proper attention is not given to the emotional and spiritual state of Nana Kwadwo Safo Akofena, the son and successor of the late founder.
According to the controversial spiritual leader, the police and family members should closely monitor him because the public disgrace and pressure surrounding the issue may have serious consequences.
“If you don’t take care, Kantanka’s son will commit suicide. It’s one of two things: either Adwoa Safo will seek revenge, or the guy will commit suicide out of disgrace. The police should really keep a close watch on him. I am telling you the truth,” he stated.
Ajagurajah further linked the current controversy to a prophecy he claims to have made in 2025 concerning the Kantanka family. According to him, he warned that unresolved conflicts and divisions among the children and relatives of Apostle Kwadwo Safo would eventually lead to public embarrassment and major controversy.
“Spirituality is working. What is happening is the doing of the man’s spirit. That’s why I said before we bury the man, he would take one of his children along. I also said there would be a huge disgrace that would spread across social media,” he claimed.
The outspoken preacher added that the recent arrest of Nana Kwadwo Safo Akofena, who had reportedly been installed as the successor to Apostle Kwadwo Safo, was the exact disgrace he had earlier predicted.
“Today, the one who has been installed as the replacement for Apostle Kojo Safo has been arrested. Is that not a huge disgrace? His father was never arrested,” Ajagurajah added.
He, however, acknowledged that investigations are still ongoing regarding allegations linked to the recent gun-firing incident reportedly connected to the residence of Nana Kwadwo Safo Akofena.
“Now, it has not yet been established that he gave the order for the gun firing, but the security is in his house, so every responsibility falls on his head,” he said.
The Kantanka family has remained in the spotlight in recent years following internal disagreements, succession-related tensions, and public disputes involving some family members after the passing of Apostle Dr. Kwadwo Safo Kantanka, founder of the Kristo Asafo Mission and Kantanka Automobile.
