Renowned Highlife artist, Bisa Kdei, born Roland Kwaku Dei Appiah, has shared a concerning trend of receiving countless texts from unemployed university graduates seeking job opportunities.
In a recent interview, Bisa Kdei expressed his distress about the country’s economic challenges, citing the soaring dollar rate, alarming levels of unemployment, and excessive taxation.
The Ghanaian music sensation lamented the struggles faced by young graduates, who, despite their education, are unable to find employment. He emphasized the need for urgent attention to these issues, highlighting the impact on the livelihoods of many. Bisa Kdei’s concerns echo the frustrations of many Ghanaians, who are calling for solutions to address the country’s economic woes.
“I don’t understand why in a country that we find ourselves every day the dollar rates keep skyrocketing and unemployment is on the high.
“I’ve gotten a lot of people who have graduated from the university but are jobless and they keep texting me every day that they want a job to do,” he revealed
He added “The system has become so hard and we keep imposing taxes on almost everything here in Ghana on a daily basis and it’s so bad.
“Right now there are no jobs for people to do and people are suffering to feed themselves so if there’s a bet that people can make a living out of it they should ease it for more people to get involved”.
