Jamaican reggae heavyweight Luciano has expressed interest in working with Ghanaian reggae/dancehall singer, Stonebwoy.
According to Luciano, he is impressed and taken aback by Stonebwoy’s commitment and dedication to producing good reggae and dancehall songs and advancing the culture of reggae and dancehall.
His comment follows Stonebwoy’s electrifying performance at the 2024 Reggae Geel Festival in Belgium.
“You are hardworking. I love your work, I want us to work on a collaboration,” Luciano said in a report on citinewsroom.com.
Stonebwoy’s performance at the 2024 Reggae Geel Festival marks the second time the singer has performed at Europe’s biggest reggae festival.
His first performance at the reggae festival was in 2016.
This year has been a productive and rewarding year for Stonebwoy. He won ‘Artiste of the Year’ at the Telecel Ghana Music Awards.
Aside from winning ‘Artiste of the Year’, Stonebwoy’s excellence in music this year is evidenced by his recent dominance at the 2024 Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA), he scooped up seven other prestigious awards.
He bagged a degree from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).
He has had musical collaborations with international acts like Manodzi, Angelique Kidzo, and Nigeria’s Odumodu Blvk.
Meanwhile, Stonebwoy is set to release his third official single of the year titled “Pray For Me,” a heartfelt plea song featuring legendary musician Wyclef Jean.
