Andy Osei Sarfo known professionally as Kweku Flick, a Ghanaian musician, has made a profound categorical controversial statement.
According to the Kumasi-based Hip Hop artiste, he disagrees with those who say that doing songs in English helps in making it go viral globally.
During an interview Property Radio in Cape Coast, the ‘Money’ hitmaker said there are a lot of songs from other countries that became popular but weren’t sung in English.
“I don’t agree with those who say that if you want your songs to go viral then you need to sing in English but everyone has got their own opinion,” he said.
He continued “The way I’m expressing my views someone might also say theirs in a different way but we should all keep our opinions to ourselves.
“There are a lot of songs which became very popular here in Ghana that most people danced to it but it wasn’t sung in the English language though we enjoyed it,” he stated
