Gospel musician Diana Asamoah has expressed utmost disappointment over the controversy surrounding Prophet Ogyaba and his extramarital affair with one of his church members, who later became his side chick.
The revelation of their affair, which included a pregnancy, allegations of neglect, and threats to life, among others, has sparked widespread backlash online, with netizens condemning the man of God.
The situation intensified when Prophet Ogyaba publicly admitted to the affair and the pregnancy claims, justifying his actions by stating that he “isn’t made of wood.”
Diana Asamoah has also joined the growing list of critics and has condemned the pastor’s actions.
She angrily labelled his involvement in an extramarital affair as both shameful and inappropriate.
“Let’s call a spade a spade, because sometimes we find means and ways to justify wrongdoing… It is disgusting. How can you tell me he gave you perfumes? It is because you like cheap things, that is why you face this today… Don’t let any man of God manipulate you into having an affair with you, because after that, he will come and say you are the one who seduced him.
“Lately, some women will put all their hopes on men of God, and due to that, these pastors will end up sleeping with them,” she said.
Diana Asamoah also cautioned both pastors and church members against engaging in amorous relationships.
She emphasised that church members who attempt to seduce married pastors should refrain from such behaviour, as it goes against the teachings of Christianity.
“I sometimes see some of these girls who will come on social media to lament how some pastors lured and slept with them. Greediness and lust made you do what you did. Also, after church hours, you will see some of these young ladies moving around these pastors instead of going home, and because of evil thoughts in these pastors, they will sleep with them.
“Ogyaba, you knew you were not wood, so why were you not cautious? Let us take some things seriously, because so far as there is heaven, then there is hell,” she added,” she added.
