Emmanuel Osei Gyamfi, the Ashanti regional director of communications at Movement for Change, is urging Kennedy Agyapong, the defeated NPP presidential aspirant, not to campaign for or support Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
During the NPP super delegate conference, Kennedy was captured in a video vowing to challenge President Akufo-Addo and Vice President Bawumia, which quickly became a topic of discussion throughout the country.
However, following the declaration of the November 4 election at the Accra Sports Stadium, Ken Agyapong declared that the election was conducted freely and transparently, expressing his support for Dr. Bawumia.
Many people believe that Ken’s facial expression that night did not indicate his support for the vice president.
In response to these events on Oyerepa Breakfast Time, a member of the Movement for Change stated that Ghanaians will not take the Assin Central MP seriously if he does not follow his advice.
“Ken Agyapong said Ghana first; if he said this thing by conviction, then he has no business supporting Bawumia. If Ken supports him, he has disgraced himself, and no Ghanaian will take Kennedy Agyapong seriously again.”
“If Kennedy Agyapong loves Ghana, as he claims, he should go to Alan. He should not wait for Alan to call him.” He told Kwesi Parker-Wilson, host of the show.
