The Ministry of the Interior has announced the commencement of a nationwide recruitment exercise for Ghana’s internal security agencies, scheduled to run from November 15 to December 15, 2025.
The recruitment covers enlistment into the Ghana Police Service, Ghana Prisons Service, Ghana National Fire Service, and the Ghana Immigration Service.
In a statement, the Ministry said the exercise is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen internal security, enhance public safety, and improve operational efficiency across the country’s key security institutions.
The Ministry encouraged disciplined, patriotic, and service-minded Ghanaians who wish to serve the nation with honour, integrity, and professionalism to apply during the one-month window.
Prospective applicants are advised to carefully read and follow the application guidelines and ensure they meet all eligibility requirements before submission.
Authorities cautioned that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for screening, aptitude tests, and background checks.
The Ministry also warned the public against fraudulent recruitment agents and unauthorized intermediaries who demand payments in exchange for placement, stressing that no individual or institution is permitted to collect money on behalf of the Ministry or any of the security agencies.
It further noted that any applicant found submitting false information or forged documents will be immediately disqualified and prosecuted. Additionally, anyone caught engaging with intermediaries during the recruitment process will face automatic disqualification.
Officials emphasized that the recruitment drive reflects the government’s continued commitment to building a stronger, more professional, and accountable security system to protect lives and property across Ghana.
