Mr Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has stated that he will run for re-election.
The NDC’s national executive election will take place in the latter months of this year, most likely in November or December.
Disclosing his decision to go for re-election on Oyerepa Breakfast Time, Chairman Ofosu Ampofo stated that, he is ever ready to fight and retain his Chairmanship position.
He explained that because he is the opposition party’s saviour, he will continue to hold his position for the NDC’s victory.
“I’m the saviour of NDC and I’m running for re-election.”
According to him, there is no one in the party like him who has led the NDC to glory, hence he should run for re-election and keep his position.
He went on to say that no matter who challenges him, he will eventually win.
“I will defend and retain the title no matter who will contest me” Mr Ofosu-Ampofo stated.
