Alhaji Musah Zakaria, who has been appointed by Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II as Asante Nkramo Sompahene, expresses his strong determination to support young individuals interested in acquiring vocational skills.
In an interview with Oyerepa News, the Asante Nkramo Sompahene emphasized that the high unemployment rate in the country has led many young people to engage in negative activities such as drug abuse and gambling.
He firmly believes that by equipping these individuals with vocational skills, they will not only be able to lead fulfilling lives but also create job opportunities for themselves.
“I have come to realize that a significant number of young people engage in drug use and gambling activities. This unfortunate trend is often a result of high unemployment rates. Consequently, I am committed to helping those who are interested in pursuing vocational training. I am willing to provide financial support to assist them in achieving their goals,” he stated.
Alhaji Musah however advised the youth to stay away from drugs and the idea to get rich quick. He said, life a gradual process and wealth is acquired via hardwork.
“Life is a gradual process; it is not a race. Therefore, young individuals must remain focused on their work instead of hastily pursuing wealth”. This notion was further emphasized by his statement.
