Former Education Minister Dr. Osei Yaw Adutwum has expressed confidence in his ability to lead Ghana, stating that the same excellence he demonstrated at the Ministry of Education will be replicated if given the opportunity to serve as president.
Dr. Adutwum pledged to transform the country’s fortunes quietly and effectively, without unnecessary fanfare.
He emphasized that, unlike others who are known for making promises without results, he is a man of action who delivers on his mandate.
“That is a useful lesson that I want people to know that there are some who talk, there are some who do, and I did not mention it before the school opened. We will change Ghana without much fanfare, we will change the nation,” he said while speaking at the Koforidua Technical University TESCON Leadership Conference and Orientation.
To him, the New Patriotic Party has a difficult task in wrestling power from the opposition political party, but it will be made easy if they sell their vision very well to the people of Ghana.
“We have to have a vision, paint that vision to Ghanaians. Let them understand where we want to take the country,” he remarked.
