The Ghana Private Road Transport Union [GPRTU], Ashanti Regional Chairman-elect, Mr. Somaila Yaw Boakye has pledged to guarantee severe discipline in the Kumasi Metropolis, the Ashanti Regional capital.
According to him, indiscipline among drivers has made the city stifled, this has consistently made it unwieldy for travelers to get simple admittance to their various destinations.
“Kumasi is choked, there’s no discipline among drivers, travelers are suffering so my leadership will ensure that there’s a severe discipline within the greater Kumasi city.” The new GPRTU Chair told Oyerepafmonline.com in a meeting after the union’s Ashanti Regional elections on Thursday.
He further called attention to set up appropriate systems to control rampant roads mishaps in the Ashanti Region.
“My administration will set up legitimate measures to limit various roads accidents in the Ashanti Region.”
National Chairman of the GPRTU, Nana Adomako Bresiamah who likewise addressed Oyerepafmonline.com encouraged the new administration to work in solidarity to march monstrous advancement in the Ashanti Regional vehicle framework.
