Ghanaian musician Kofi Kinaata has shared his stance on political endorsements in a recent interview.
Despite criticism from some Ghanaians, Kinaata expressed his willingness to consider political endorsements if the offer is substantial.
While he claimed to be neutral, Kinaata hinted that a significant amount of money could sway his decision.
This comes after fellow musician King Paluta faced backlash for his appearance with NPP leaders, including Vice President Dr. Bawumia, in a campaign bus in Kumasi.
King Paluta clarified in an interviewthat his presence was not an endorsement of the NPP.
He stated that he was invited by the Vice President and couldn’t decline, and that accepting compensation for logistical expenses was reasonable.
But, Kinaata is of the view that, music is a business and that will be willing to offer his sservice to any politacl party if only the mponey involved is lucrative.
