The General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketia, says he will indeed contest the chairmanship position of his party.
The NDC goes to congress on the 17th of December 2022.
General Mosquito, as he is affectionately called, made his intentions known on Oyerepa Breakfast Time, Friday, October 14.
“I have decided to pick up a form to contest the chairmanship position when nominations are opened,” the NDC scribe told Kwesi Parker Wilson, host of the show.
Asiedu Nketia became NDC’s General Secretary in 2005 and has been the longest-serving General Secretary of the NDC.
He however hinted that all the positions of the party would be declared vacant by end of November 2022.
