The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Christian Tetteh Yohuno, has commended the Ghana Police Service for their recent achievements in maintaining law and order in the country.
Speaking at the official handing over of a special song in honour of the police service by Grace Ashly, the IGP warned armed robbers that the police will pursue them relentlessly, saying “We’re chasing criminals to their mother’s bedroom”.
The event, held at the UDS Guest House, was organized by Grace Ashly Ministries to congratulate the police service for their efforts in ensuring safety in the country.
The IGP expressed his gratitude to all police regional commanders for their good work in maintaining peace and security.
Gospel artist Grace Ashly lauded the Ghana Police Service for their hard work, noting that police officers often leave their families behind to go on operations, even when their loved ones need them most.
She presented the official song, titled “Y3bo Hom Aba so”, which she composed to encourage the police service to continue their good work.
