The running mate of the New Patriotic Party(NPP) Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh has taken a swipe at the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Mahama.
This comes after the former President criticised Napo as he is popularly called for speaking ill of the death over his comments against Dr Kwame Nkrumah and late Prof John Atta-Mills.
Mr Mahama added that “If Nkrumah had a ghost, he would have slapped NAPO.”
In a rebuttal, Napo while addressing NPP supporters at Adugyama in the Ahafo Ano South East constituency in the Ashanti Region, stated, “Mahama instead of sending a good message to Ghanaians said if Kwame Nkrumah had a ghost, he would have slapped me[Napo].
“I also want to tell him that if Mills had a ghost, John Mahama would be in Jail by now.”
His statement attracted loud applause and laughter among the party faithful present coupled with other side commentaries.
Dr. Prempeh further argued that the best pair to safeguard the gains made in policies like the Free Senior High School is Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and him.
He therefore called on all Ghanaians to massively vote for the NPP in the December 7 election.
