Former traditional priest-turned-evangelist Patricia Asiedua Asiamah, popularly known as Nana Agradaa, has opened up about how her time in prison transformed her outlook on life, saying the experience has made her extremely cautious about every decision she makes.

Speaking during a TikTok Live session while discussing the incarceration of Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Agradaa reflected on her own imprisonment and described life behind bars as an experience she never wishes to relive.

According to her, the harsh realities of prison have completely changed her priorities, insisting that no amount of money would convince her to engage in any activity that could jeopardise her freedom.

“Life in prison is not easy. If you offered me GH¢200 billion to do an advert for you, and I realised it could land me in prison, I would reject it. I’m now more careful than ever,” she stated.

Her comments come days after Chairman Wontumi was sentenced in connection with an illegal mining case, a development that has generated widespread public debate and prompted reactions from several public figures.

Nana Agradaa, who has had her own legal battles in recent years, suggested that personal encounters with imprisonment can permanently change a person’s mindset, urging people to think carefully before making decisions that could have serious legal consequences.
