Member of Parliament(MP) for Assin Central in the Central Region, Kennedy Agyapong has said he would not leave the New Patriotic Party (NPP), unlike others who have left, he will continue to be a member.
According to the lawmaker, he will be in the NPP to make the needed changes he spoke about during his campaign for the party’s flagbearership position.
Kennedy Agyapong made this known at his
showdown Thanksgiving in the United States of America.
He said, that reports that he is leaving the NPP are false as he continues to believe in the party’s tradition and culture.
The legislator indicated that it would be prudent to be a member of the political party and cause the needed transformation he spoke about.
“I will sit in there and make the changes. I will be in there and make the changes. You should be rest assured that there are speculations. They said December 4, Kennedy Agyapong is going to make his press conference, and I will be here December 4. These kinds of speculations I’m not in for that. I will continue to be NPP, but Ghana first,” he said.
