Kennedy Agyapong, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central, has cautioned the New Patriotic Party (NPP) that he will speak out even though he is competing for Party’s flagbearership.
The NPP MP who wants to lead the party as its flagbearer claims that the administration is trying to intimidate him and ruin his companies.
According to him, such threats will not function for him. He made the statement on Sompa FM in the Ashanti Region where he was well-received by the party faithful.
“They think because I am aspiring for President so if nonsense is going on I will shut up about it. If you like don’t vote for me. I will live for the rest of my life speaking the truth”, he said.
Mr. Kennedy Agyapong dropped a bombshell remark about how an Indian is allegedly remote-controlling Ghana’s Custom Commissioner.
“If we allow these things to go on, there is no future for any young man. We are here, an Indian is able to call Custom Commissioner. I don’t even know Custom Commissioner’s numbers and I don’t want to know because I do the right thing.” He added.
“They (GRA) have an office complex they’re building at Kanda. Contractors charge them 10%. Ghana Revenue people, what I will do to them” he threatened.
