Borne Kwame Fordjour, aka Dr UN, a controversial Ghanaian event planner, believes Black Sherif does not deserve a big award until he can remain relevant for another few years.
The egregious UN-awards creator reported receiving phone calls about the BET-nominated rapper.
People want Dr UN to award the “Second Sermon” hitmaker, which he says will never happen unless he waits five years.
The recently divorced husband told Kumasi-based Pure FM that he is giving Black Sherif a five-year deadline to prove his relevance and stay before awarding him because he sees him exiting music after five years.
Dr UN said Black Sherif is not close to Sarkodie’s accomplishments to be likened to Africa’s most decorated rapper.
“People have been calling and telling me to give Black Sherif an award, but I have been turning them down because he hasn’t been here for even five years.
“He is bound to drop out after 5 years, unlike Sarkodie, who has been unstoppable for more than 10 years,” he said.
