Kumawood actor Nana Kofi Agyemang, popularly known as Oboy Siki, has asserted that he will never get into trouble for preferring to have sexual intercourse with younger girls from the age of 16 rather than older women.

In an interview, Oboy Siki disclosed that while he previously preferred girls around 18 years old, he has now shifted to girls around 16 years old. The 76-year-old actor argued that Ghanaian law permits sexual relations with 16-year-olds but prohibits marriage at that age.

He added that he has been attracted to younger girls for a very long time and believes he will never get into trouble because all his encounters are based on mutual consent.

“For the type of girls I love, if you are not a young girl I cannot have sex with you. I used to prefer 18-year-olds, but now I go for 16-year-olds. As the law says, you can have sex with 16-year-olds, but you cannot marry them. I’ve been attracted to younger girls for a very long time, but I will never get into trouble over it because if the younger girls are not interested in me, I’m also not interested in them,” he said.

The Ghana Children’s Act of 1998 (Act 560) sets the minimum age for marriage at 18 years, while the Criminal Code of 1960 establishes the legal age of consent for sexual activity at 16 years.

In a 2019 interview with ZionFelix, Oboy Siki made a shocking revelation, claiming he had slept with over 2,500 girls below the age of 18. He attributed his womanising lifestyle to his father, saying it is “in his blood” after witnessing his father’s behaviour with women from a young age.

He further boasted that he has slept with women in virtually every district and village across Ghana, adding that he does not sleep with older actresses like Nana Ama McBrown, Vivian Jill, Mercy Asiedu, and others, but prefers 16-year-old girls.
