Independent Presidential Candidate Desmond Kwame Abrefah has promised to create a media ministry when elected president in the 2024 general elections.
Mr. Abrefah noted that his “Save the Nation Movement” intention of creating a media ministry as president was to make the media independent and professional in their quest for delivery.
Mr. Kwame Desmond, who is set for victory in the 2024 general elections, made this known during an interaction with a section of the media at his office at Ayi-Mensah in Accra.
“The media, which is constitutionally recognized as the 4th arm of government, has for years not received the necessary recognition it deserves to help in the total development of the country,” he stated.
According to Mr. Abrefah, who is also a man of God, the creation of a media ministry would help address the high rate of corruption across all borders of the country.”
The Save the Country Movement has been accepted by the highly Ghanaian populace, and it is likely that it will break Ghana’s political jinx come 2024.
Mr. Abrefah disclosed that his intention to contest the 2024 presidential elections as an independent candidate was a call from the Almighty God to eliminate the country from its current bad state.
He attributed the challenges that Ghanaians have faced and continue to experience to poor leadership by both the NDC and the NPP.
According to Mr. Abrefah, who is also a man of God, the only way Ghana can be liberated is when Ghanaians reject both the NPP and the NDC and vote for him in the 2024 general elections.
“I am not seeking power to embezzle mp; it is meant for the development of Ghana, but rather to make lives bearable for the ordinary Ghanaian, he assured.
He also assured Ghanians of an all-inclusive governance, rather than having both the NDC and the NPP give out positions to only a few members of their parties, and he promised to use local Ghanaian experts for the development of the country rather than depending on foreigners for the nation’s growth.
“I believe Ghanaians have for several years witnessed the poor leadership of both the NPP and the NDC and am therefore appealing to the good people of this country to try me (Desmond Kwame Abrefah) for a great change that would reflect in the eyes of all Ghanaians and the world at large,” he said.
