Ghanaian fashion entrepreneur Richard Brown, popularly known as Osebo the Zaraman, has revealed that the late Dr Apostle Kwadwo Safo, founder of the Kristo Asafo Mission, entrusted him with major responsibilities in the church for four years despite never appointing him to an official leadership position.

Speaking during an interview, Osebo dismissed claims that he serves as an elder in the church, insisting that he has never sought any title or office since becoming a member.

“No, I don’t want any position in the church,” he stated.

The celebrity stylist explained that while he held no formal designation, Dr Apostle Kwadwo Safo gave him the responsibility of representing and coordinating the church’s activities between 2017 and 2020.

He said that, “In 2017, the man gave the church to me for four good years. I was the one running the church from Accra, Takoradi, Italy, the UK, and Germany. If there’s any message, I will be the one to go and deliver it.”

According to Osebo, his assignment was not administrative but representative. He described himself as an ambassador who was entrusted with communicating important messages on behalf of the church.

“I was like an ambassador, so if there was any message, one guy from Kumasi and I were the ones who delivered it. He took the Ashanti Region, and I took Greater Accra,” he noted.

Osebo further disclosed that ministry has been part of his life since childhood, revealing that preaching began long before he became known in the fashion industry.

“I preach. I started preaching at the age of 11,” he revealed.

The fashion icon also shared that he has remained a loyal member of the Kristo Asafo Mission since joining the church in 1986. He said he has never worshipped in any other church and intends to remain committed to the mission for the rest of his life.
