Veteran Highlife artiste, Dan Amakye Dede, professionally known as Amakye Dede has revealed that his hit track “Iron Boy” took him about eight years to complete all works relating to it.
Speaking in an interview on the Super Morning Show on Joy Entertainment, the legendary Highlife whiz stated that recording the song was a very difficult task for him because he was uncertain about the tune to settle on for the song.
“It took me about eight years to finish this song. I started with some rhythms, but it wasn’t good for me till I did it with a reggae tune,” he said.
He further noted that he had to take many breaks to work on other songs while recording “Iron boy.”
In other news, Ghanaian UK-based rapper, Reggie Zippy has been spotted in a heartbreaking video singing tribute songs to his late mother Madam Cecilia Koomson as she is finally being laid to rest.
It would be vividly recalled that the rapper took to his social media in August 2021 to announce the demise of his mother in a very sad post.
Following the demise of his mother, Reggie Zippy also made a life-threatening post on social media due to the depression and pain he had to endure as a result of the death of his mother. He said that no one should mourn him when he passes away because he plans on joining his dead mother soon.
