I helped my late Partner to build wealth through drug smuggling – Woman reveals as she demands share of Estate
A Ghanaian woman has publicly shared her story of how she became involved in an international drug trafficking operation allegedly orchestrated by the late father of her son, who lived in the United Kingdom.
The woman, who appeared on Oyerepa Afutuo hosted by Auntie Naa, on June 24, 2026, expressed frustration over what she describes as neglect and mistreatment by the deceased man’s family. She claims that despite her significant contribution to the wealth he accumulated, she and her now 20-year-old son have been abandoned following his death.
According to her, the deceased introduced her to the drug trade and recruited her to help transport illegal substances from Ghana to the UK.
She explained that he connected her with individuals who supplied the drugs and instructed her on how to deliver them for shipment abroad. She said she repeatedly carried out the assignments and would receive confirmation calls from him whenever the packages successfully reached their destination.
The woman stated that during their relationship, she lived in a house owned by the man and received money from him to purchase building materials, including cement and tiles, for construction projects.
She recounted that she became pregnant while assisting him in the business. Although her first pregnancy ended in a miscarriage, she later gave birth to a son.
However, her involvement in the operation eventually led to her arrest. She revealed that authorities traced a drug consignment she had taken to the airport back to her, resulting in her conviction and a 10-year prison sentence.
Despite the legal consequences she faced, she said she never disclosed the identity of her partner to investigators.
Following her release from prison, she claimed the man attempted to persuade her to resume working with him in the drug trade. Having experienced the hardships of incarceration, she declined the offer.
According to her, the refusal strained their relationship, leading him to evict her from his residence while retaining custody of their son.
The woman further alleged that after the man’s death, his sister assumed control of his properties and assets. She claims the family has since failed to support her son, whom she says is now battling drug addiction.
Believing she played a major role in helping the deceased acquire his wealth, she is now demanding a share of the properties he left behind and is appealing for assistance for her son.
The claims were made during a live interview and have not been independently verified.
