Leader and founder of the Ghana Union Movement [GUM], Reverend Christian Kwabena Andrews, popularly known as Osofo Kyiri Abosom has debunked claims that he has quit politics.
Kyiri Abosom says he has not renounced politics but at the moment he is embarking on the good work of God.
Speaking on Oyerepa Fm’s “Breakfast time” on Wednesday, he declared that, ” I haven’t quit politics, for now, I’m doing the work of God.”
The 2020 Presidential candidate for GUM who doubles as the general overseer of Osofo Kyiri Abosom Ministry was responding to assertions that, he has relinquished politics.
According to him, he is not a typical politician like former President John Dramani Mahama who has devoted all his time to politics. However, he will bounce back in the political scene when the time is due because he will never give up until Ghana is successful.
“I will bounce back fully when the political era is due but for now I’m doing the work of God.”
“I’m not a politician like Mahama who has devoted all his time to politics. I’m a man of God. But until Ghana becomes successful, I will never rest.” Osofo Kyiriabosom stated on the show.
