I fell in love at first sight—Late John Kumah’s wife opens up on new husband
Wife of the late John Kumah, Lilian Owusu, has opened up about her new marriage, describing her relationship with her husband as love at first sight.
According to her, she had no prior connection with the man until he approached her with a proposal for a strategic business alliance.
She explained that it was an instant connection from the moment he saw her, and she later agreed to marry him because of his boldness, confidence, and visionary mindset.
Lilian Owusu made these remarks while addressing her congregation on Sunday, December 21.
“When you are crying, sometimes he brings something to wipe your tears. I think over the years, if you know me, I believe in forward ever and backwards never. I have made up my mind to move forward at all costs, and I will not allow pain to cage me. By the grace of God in my prayers and in my request, God carried a man to office. I didn’t know him, and I’ve not known him anywhere. I was just here, and they came for a business alliance, and it was love at first sight. As soon as he saw me, he pursued, and fortunately, it was just within the time I was ready,” she stated.
Lilian Mensah indicated that she and her church leaders, her children, and many others have had to pray about the relationship and believe that God brought in a humble young man to her life, not to replace but to support her where she has got to.
“God knows your journey and he brings in people at particular times to support your journey. I thank God for bringing such a visionary, courageous and confident man into my life. I am moved by boldness, hard work, and visionary men”.
On social media posts suggesting that it was too early for her to remarry, she explained that she would have remarried even if she was 60 years old, adding that she will take every opportunity to live her life and will not be caged by pain.
