Ghanaian musician, Richard Kwasi Siaw Akrofi popularly known as Ex Doe says he doesn’t support artists who beef with each other in the music industry because it reduces respect.
The “Daavi Mede Kuku” hit maker expressed his dislike for beefing though he agrees that beefing is part of the rap game.
“To me, I don’t really like beefing and I will never support beefing in the music industry but as a rap artist, it’s part of the genre. Most people miss the difference between a battle and dissing because diss is the short form of disrespect as being used by most rappers. So disrespect has been slang as diss but the battle is not about using insulting or abusive words but rather creative punch lines and that’s allowed in our game. Be careful about the songs you do because it can limit your level of respect”, he explained in a recent interview.
