“I don’t care about trolls against my husband” – LilWin’s wife says

Maame Serwaa, the wife of Ghanaian actor and musician Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as LilWin, has spoken about how she handles the frequent public criticisms and online discussions surrounding her husband.

She explained that comments made about the actor on social media do not influence her opinion of him because she knows his personality away from the public image created online.

Speaking during the graduation ceremony of students from her husband’s school, Maame Serwaa said she has become used to the attention that comes with being married to a public figure and does not allow online reactions to affect her.

“It doesn’t bother me because my husband is a social media person and people will talk about him no matter what. Those talking about him and trolling him on social media don’t know him better than I do,” she said.

According to her, many people form strong opinions about celebrities based only on what they see online, despite having no personal relationship with them.

Maame Serwaa added that she chooses to trust her own experiences with LilWin rather than the comments and criticisms shared by strangers on the internet.

“I don’t take any social media controversy seriously. Anyone can just pick up their phone and type what they want, whether they’ve met the person before or not, so it doesn’t bother me,” she stated.

Her comments come amid ongoing public conversations about LilWin, whose outspoken personality and activities in Ghana’s entertainment industry have often attracted both support and criticism. She maintained that online controversies will not change her support for her husband or the way she views him.
