Ghanaian socialite and actress Efia Odo shared personal details about her past relationships during a recent episode of the “Rants, Bants, and Confessions” podcast.
In an open conversation with co-host Adwoa Tee and a fellow panelist, Efia reflected on some of her youthful decisions, including a period when she dated a drug dealer.
“I have dated a drug dealer before but that was my younger days,” Efia admitted. “I feel like now, as I’m older, dating a drug dealer will be too risky for me.
“But like when I was younger and I was young and I was free and I was living, I wasn’t thinking of having a future with him. I was just having fun.”
She recounted her time in New York, stating, “He used to sell weed. He had so much money, right? He had a lot of money. Oh my goodness.
His name was… yeah, oh no, he’s actually my friend on Snapchat. Oh yeah, but he was Jamaican. At that time, when I was living in New York, I really didn’t like mingle with the Ghanaians. But like, yeah, he was selling drugs. I used to help him some. I used to drop the box at the post office. Anyway, I’m not going to go into details.”
Efia’s reflections highlight the choices and experiences of her younger years, contrasting with her current perspective on relationships and risk.
