Flagbearer hopeful Kennedy Agyapong has rebuked members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) who claim they have been sidelined by the party, following recent complaints by senior figures.
Former President John Agyekum Kufuor, in a recent conversation with Abetifi MP and presidential aspirant Bryan Acheampong, expressed disappointment at what he described as neglect and exclusion from the party he once led to two electoral victories. His remarks have reignited debate about internal unity and inclusion within the NPP.
Adding his voice to the conversation on Oyerepa FM’s Breakfast Show, a former General Secretary of the party asserted that if sidelining is being discussed, he ranks highest among those affected.
“I have worked with Professor Adu Boahen. I have served this party diligently. I know the frustrations within the NPP because I have walked this path. If anyone has truly been sidelined, then I am the headmaster,” he declared.
