Grammy Award-winning Nigerian singer, songwriter, and record producer, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy in the music industry, has announced his readiness to finally settle down.
The Afro-fusion star, in a video, said he is ready to be “out of the market.” However, he laid down conditions that must be met before any woman becomes his wife or even bears a child with him.
According to him, any woman interested in settling down with him should be ready to buy him a $2 million ring, similar to the one he currently wears. He said he is not prepared to remove his expensive ring for a cheaper one. If any woman can meet that condition, he is ready to be with her and enjoy life together.
“Can you hear me? You see the finger it’s on? What’s that? Wedding finger. Show me one female that would have put this ring on my finger. Because this is what my marriage is worth. If you’re going to marry me, then you are bringing the ring. You understand? Because I already gave myself a ring. And it’s $2 million, so you will have to beat it before I love you and we can have children,” he said.
His comments have sparked widespread reactions on social media. While some accused him of immaturity, others questioned how long he plans to remain single. Whatever the case, it appears no woman has yet met his condition.
