An NDC activist has threatened to behead former president John Dramani Mahama, if NDC loses the 2020 presidential elections in Ghana.
He said he will cause the execution of the NDC flagbearer if he sits aloof and allows the electoral commission to proceed with its agenda of compiling a new voters register.
Mr. Gabriel Agah, made this statement on Oyerepa Breakfast Show on Thursday 28th May 2020 during a discussion on the EC’s roadmap for the voter registration exercise.
He believes the Electoral Commission’s agenda of compiling a new voters register is part of the Commission’s ploy rig the 2020 presidential elections for the NPP.
Civil Society groups have called on the EC to halt the EXERCISE but the calls have fallen on deaf ears.
‘’We have been in government before and we know the modus operandi of the commission, so if Mahama will not act and be tight-lipped for them to execute their mandate, so be it”, he stated.
In the course of the show, Mr. Agah who was beating war drums, sounded a word of caution to the EC’s Chairperson Jean Mensah saying the NDC will do everything possible to plunge the country into chaos.
He also vowed to frustrate the Electoral Commission’s pilot registration exercises in the Ashanti region.
Mr. Agah, says the NDC will mobilize every force within their reach to destabilize the smooth conduct registration process.
